Mrs. Rao was enamoured with kids since the beginning. These feelings backed and supported her to establish Arvind Education Society, Arvind being her father’s name, with great efforts and confidence. She started a Nursery class with only 20 students at Sangvi in 1995.
This journey brought her a grand success and good response and her confidence led her to grow this sapling into two trees named “Little Flower English Medium School” and “Bhartiya Vidya Niketan Vidyalay”. Recently she has started the A.E.S. Junior College of Science & Commerce which has received a good response in the PCMC area. Presently about 1200 students are studying within the institute.

Living life is a beautiful art and the art of living is through education. The reflections of social, cultural and traditional life of every nation are seen through its art of living.
Due to various advances in the educational system, students are under a lot of stress. The present era is an era of competition. In this world of competition, maintaining the values of life and protecting the culture and tradition, while moving ahead using modern technologies and delivering a holistic education in a disciplined and cheerful environment, the renowned Institute “Arvind Education Society” plays a vital role through their Bharatiya Vidya Niketan Vidyalay and Little Flower English Medium School.
Quality Education is the foundation for creating a strong and prosperous society. Keeping this in mind, honourable ex-mayor of Pimpri-Chinchwad, late Arvind alias Nanasaheb Shitole established this institute in the year 1996. This Institute is well known in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area.
In the year 2014, the institute also started the AES Junior College for Science and Commerce. Mrs. E. Aarti Rao has been upholding and managing the total responsibility of Arvind Education Society successfully and is the guiding light for many. Today more than 1200 students are being educated through this institute.

With this vision we strive to make our students responsible, just and useful citizens of our country.
From the President's Desk...
Every morning the school activities begin in a pleasant environment with prayers for a Peaceful World. After the prayers, the students are given information on the lives of great personalities as well as reading of newspapers to keep them updated on the daily issues. As the rays of light bloom beautiful flowers, likewise good and holistic education helps blossom beautiful students. Therefore, the motto of the institute is “विद्या विनयेन शोभते i.e. Knowledge is best adorned through humility”.
For the overall development of the students, the school implements various activities like sports competitions, arts/painting and drawing competitions, writing competition, general knowledge competitions, questionnaires, debates, science exhibitions, cultural programmes, scholarship exams, other competitive exams, dindi etc. The school also hosts fun fairs, food fairs, special programmes to inculcate respect towards the parents such as matru-pitru padya puja, get togethers for grandparents, re-creating best out of the waste and reusing materials, and many more events in order to help in the overall development of the students.
Noble achievements at interschool drama competitions, district level sports competitions, teachers getting Ideal Teacher’s award, tradition of achieving 100% successful results in 10th and 12th grades every year and the school being honoured with Ideal School Award is a golden lining for the Institute. Proper guidance and training in dance, drama, singing, storytelling, judo karate, aerobics, skating, dhol and tasha, martial arts in sticks, hand-made craft, tailoring, classical and semi-classical dance forms is given by experienced teachers. In order to develop a love for reading among students, book exhibitions are held and books are sold at concessional rates.
The prominent features of the institute include individual attention to students, experienced teachers, proper guidance and counselling, well-equipped science and computer laboratories, library, disciplined and cheerful school environment, environment-related conservational programmes and various programmes that inculcate cultural and traditional values among the students. Students comprehend and learn much faster if the subjects are taught entertainingly. Thus to make the teaching and learning process more effective, the institute imparts quality education through various activities and also uses audio and video to make the learning process more interesting for the students. With all these processes and programmes put together, the Institute continuously thrives towards the overall development of the students.
